    • Rabbit anti Human CD140b antibody recognizes platelet derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRβ), a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for platelet-derived growth factor BB. Upon ligand binding PDGFRβ forms homodimers, or heterodimers with PDGFRα, resulting in autophosphorylation. Activated PDGFRs control cell proliferation, migration and survival in mesenchymal cells. CD140b is expressed by non-reticular stromal cells in the bone marrow (Rasini et al. 2013)

CD140b has been shown to be important in the recruitment of fibroblasts and pericytes in wound healing.
