    • Recombinant Human BMP-7 is a 28.8 kDa recombinant protein corresponding to amino acid residues 316 to 431 of the full-length human bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP-7) precursor.

BMP-7, also known as Osteogenic protein 1 (OP-1), is a disulphide-linked homodimeric cysteine knot protein and one of a growing number of osteogenic proteins shown to induce bone and cartilage formation and to play an important role in developmental processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and morphogenesis.
