    • PHP135, native beta-2 microglobulin is a component of MHC class I molecules, which are present on all nucleated cells. Levels of beta-2 microglobulin can be used to assess renal function in kidney transplant recipients. Also known as B2M, it has been suggested that this protein can be used as a prognostic marker for HIV infection.
    • Intended Use
    • Target Species
      Human

      Reconstitute with 1.0ml sterile PBS
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
    • Preparation
Human beta-2 microglobulin was prepared from urine from patients with renal tubular proteinuria.
