Goat anti Human Amyloid Precursor Protein (C-Terminal)

Negative Isotype Controls
Goat anti Human Amyloid Precursor Protein antibody recognizes the unconjugated immunizing peptide in ELISA and will react with the amyloid precursor holoprotein in western blots.
The amyloid precursor protein (APP) is a large membrane protein whose C-terminus projects into the extracellular space. In Alzheimer's disease this protein is broken down, and releases the 42 AA beta amyloid protein that is found in senile plaques and vessels.
APP also inhibits Notch signaling through it’s interaction with NUMB.
